The Golf Club at Yankee Trace! The state of the art facility is a championship 27-hole resort style golf course that includes a full-service restaurant and high-end banquet facilities. We seek energetic and hardworking people who can assist us in delivering exemplary customer service to our guests.

Outside Services

Position Responsibilities:

  • Meets and greets golfers as they arrive, assisting them with directions or other services and coordinating their needs for golf carts and/or practice range usage.
  • Cleans, supplies, stages, and assigns golf carts for customer use.
  • Monitors the condition of rental clubs and ensures proper sets of rental clubs are maintained.
  • Cleans and maintains golf cart storage area and office area.
  • Assists golfers following completion of their round of golf, including cleaning golf clubs and assisting in the return of golf carts and rental clubs.
  • Prepares course for the close of business, cleaning practice range, golf carts, and general area and storing golf carts, rental clubs, and other equipment.
  • Maintains professional appearance and attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license.
  • Customer service experience in a golf setting preferred.

The pay range is $ 11.90 per hour - $15.84 per hour depending on experience.

Groundskeeper

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operates mowers, trimmers, hand tools, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Waters and fertilizes tees, greens, and fairways.
  • Assist Groundskeeper in performing daily course maintenance (i.e., sets tee markers and cups o greens, fills, and maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels and flags as needed, sands and seeds tee/drip area divots, cleans flower beds, and removes debris from areas at play, rakes and maintains and bunker, etc.).
  • Assists in project work (ex. Laying sod and seeding tees, greens, and fairways).
  • Miscellaneous manual labor and other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years of age or older.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license.

The pay range is $ 12.99 per hour - $16.89 per hour depending on experience.

Line Cook - Full Time

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares meal ingredients as directed.
  • Assists kitchen staff in preparing menu items as necessary to ensure timely service to patrons.
  • Maintains cleanliness of kitchen facilities and equipment.
  • Prepares fresh produce by peeling, cutting, and portioning.
  • Prepares meat by trimming, cutting, and portioning.
  • Prepares simple dishes such as breads or salads.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, food handling, and hygiene codes and standards.
  • Fills in as sauté cook, cold line cook, and/or expediter, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Training and/or experience in food preparation in a restaurant or institutional environment.
  • Possess a valid Ohio driver’s license.

The pay range is $ 14.62 per hour - $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Banquet Captain

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all aspects of customer service during banquets and group functions, ensuring proper timing and quality of service to patrons.
  • Ensures that the banquet facility is set up to proper specifications.
  • Prepares for future banquets and meetings by ensuring rooms are set to banquet sheet specifications.
  • Performs daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Assists in plating and serving food and drink orders as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent and three (3) years experience as a server in a restaurant or banquet facility.
  • Or any combination of training and experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The pay range is $ 14.23 per hour - $18.50 per hour depending on experience.

Civic Volunteer

CIVIC Municipal Volunteer Program

The City of Centerville’s municipal volunteer program, Citizens Involved in Centerville (CIVIC), assists the city in its efforts to provide superior services to its residents, and extends opportunities for citizens to participate in their local government and community.

Greeter / Player Assistant: Now accepting applications for volunteer greeters and player assistants. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license. The position is active during the golf season; April thorough October. Duties include greeting golfers and checking receipts on the fist tee and providing information about daily course conditions. Player assistants monitor pace of play and  provide customer service to golfers on the golf course. up to 9 hours per week.

Shuttle Drivers: Now accepting applications for volunteer shuttle drivers. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license. The position is active during the golf season; April thorough October. Duties include transporting golfers and guests of the facility to and from clubhouse and transporting members to and from the private practice facility. Average 6 or 7 hours per week.

Course Beautification: Now accepting applications for golf course beautification volunteers. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license. The position is active during the golf season; April thorough October. Duties include mulching and planting flower beds, placing sand on fairways and greens and other agronomy practices. Average 6 or 7 hours per week.
