Tee Time Reservations
Most annual fee members will have priority access to tee times 14 days in advance. Tee times made online at www.yankeetrace.org can be made ten days in advance. A credit card is required to reserve a tee time online. Customers may call the golf shop to reserve daily fees at tee time seven days in advance.
One individual may reserve two starting times for their group. The Head Golf Professional must approve any requests for additional starting times.
Juniors may make tee times any day after 12:00 p.m.
Cancellation Policy
To protect the access rights of all golfers, The Golf Club at Yankee Trace will enforce a 48-hour cancellation policy. Failure to show up for a starting time results in another golfer being unable to use the facility at their desired time, perhaps not at all.
Any starting time made before this period may be canceled with a golf staff member via telephone. Records of no-shows will be kept, and if the problem continues after notice is given, the habitual offender will lose their advance starting time privilege for 30 days.
Rain Check Policy
Due to inclement weather that may arise during play, a rain check will be issued to golfers with a paid receipt for 18 holes to be used as credit towards any green fee at a later time:
After the golfer begins to play, a rain check is issued: 50% of the fee paid
After the golfer makes the turn, a rain check will not be issued.
Golf Cars
A golfer must be at least 18 years of age and present a State-issued ID before being permitted to drive a golf cart.
Non-golfing guests are permitted to ride along with a playing guest with permission from the Head Professional.
Payment of the applicable golf car fee is required.
Course Care
All players at Yankee Trace are reminded to obey the cart rules of the day and repair ball marks, divots, and rake bunkers. Try to leave the course in better condition than you found it.
Speed of Play
Our goal at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for all during their round of golf. One of the most important aspects in this regard is the speed of play. It is the golfer's responsibility to maintain a proper play pace during their golf round. A round of golf should not last more than 4 ½ hours.
Speed of play time goals will be communicated to each group of golfers by the golf shop staff and player assistants and noted on the scorecard. Each group will be monitored for their pace of play during the round by staff, who will communicate to the golfers how they are progressing about their pace of play. The player assistants are to assist each group to maintain their pace and do whatever they can to make their golfing experience enjoyable.
After repeated violations, groups that do not cooperate with our pace of play policies may incur sanctions, which could involve expulsion from the course or restriction of future prime-time playing privileges.
Homeowner Relations
Golfers can enter adjacent homeowner rear yards to retrieve errant golf balls within thirty (30) feet of the golf course boundary. However, golfers are NOT permitted to drive golf cars or play any shot from adjacent property. White out-of-bounds stakes mark the boundaries of the golf course.
The Golf Club at Yankee Trace is not responsible for damage incurred to homeowner(s) property by a golfer.
Junior Golfers
A junior golfer is any golfer who has not reached their 30th birthday. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted to take the course. Children under the age of six (6) are not permitted in the practice range. Children under the age of six (6) may use the clubhouse putting green when accompanied by an adult.
A junior golfer must have a set of clubs to play the course.
During busy periods, a junior golfer may play with a group of two or more adults at normal greens fees. Junior golfers must be at least twelve (12) years of age to be on the premises without an adult.
Junior golfers must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and present a State-issued ID before being permitted to drive a golf cart.
Payment Procedures
Cash, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Visa credit cards are all accepted forms of payment in the golf clubhouse for all goods and services purchased at Yankee Trace.
