The Annual Officer John P. Kalaman Memorial Golf Tournament is the primary source of revenue for the John P. Memorial Scholarship Program. Following John's death, the scholarship program began in 1999 when two scholarships with a one-time value of $1000 each were awarded. Over the years, because of the generosity 
With community support, the program has continued to grow. We now offer three scholarships each year. Two academic scholarships are renewable for four years and are valued at $10,000 each. A one-year scholarship to a community college or technical school, valued at $ 4,000, is also offered. Each of you has contributed in various ways to the success and growth of both the golf tournament and the scholarship program. We are grateful to all of you for your generous support in the past and for your participation today. Together we have touched many young lives in a very positive way as we help to fund their education.
